Employee of the Month

June 2008 - Bryan Tate

Text Box: Bryan Tate “Tater” is our June Employee of the Month. Bryan works in the shop as a mechanic. He has been with the company for 2 1/2 years. Bryan is all smiles when he’s working and always has a great disposition. Bryan lives in Rainsville with his wife, Kellie, of 5 years. He has two sons, Jonathan Tate (5) and Clay Love (7). When Bryan’s not working here at the shop, he enjoys riding his four wheeler, fishing, and horse back riding. Thanks Bryan, for being a part of the Jackson Paving Team!

Text Box: Joel “ Sandman” Freeman is our Employee of the Month.  He has always tried to step up and help others in any way he can, even without being asked.  Joel has been married to Dona for thirteen years.  Joel attended high school at Plainview High School in Rainsville and attended the North Alabama Driving Academy.  He has been with the company for almost six years as a dump truck driver for Jackson Trucking LLC.  Joel’s hobbies include watching/attending NASCAR races, spending time with family and friends, cooking, watching TV, relaxing around the house, movies, and all types of music.  Joel would like to say that they had their first child February 27, 2008, Preslee Rayne.  “I love my little girl and enjoy being a daddy. I bought a house in November 2007 and I enjoy working in the yard and having household projects to do.” We are very lucky to have Joel as part of our team.

June 2008 - Rebecca Cash

 

Text Box: Rebecca has been an employee with us since 1999. She made her  start here as a laborer on the Survey Crew, she shortly started operating equipment and then in 2000 she moved to the lab where  she currently spends most of her day. Among other things Rebecca is our Quality Control Manager, HMA Designer & EEO Officer. Rebecca attended school at Crossville, she then moved on to Snead State, and finally she attended UAH while working full time. Rebecca has been married to Corkey for 3 years and has a son (Chris Berry) that will turn 13 y/o on May 3rd. She enjoys reading, writing (she’s a published poet), playing video games with her son & photography in her spare time.  Interesting Facts: Rebecca  loves sports cars and old American hot rods (her father was a mechanic). The “nerd” in her really loves math. She was the roadway tech on our very first Superpave Project. She also did the mix designs for the Award Winning Albertville Airport project back in 2005. Rebecca wants to say that she loves her job and that Jackson Paving is her second family, however I would like to add how blessed we are to have her. Thanks, Rebecca for being a part of the Jackson Paving Team.
